This very decent re-make of classic tune is one I love to play when having mix. It’s such a distinctive riff that it’s a remix that was probably quite hard to get right. I love the proggy bassline that kicks in in earnest about 2.30 mins into the track. The breakdown does justice to the airy synth of the original and it’s just an all around great tune. It’s a tune I’d love to play at any trance night just to see what the reaction would be, timeless and still sounds great now.
The Original’s obviously pretty darn good too, though I always found the intro bloody hard to do anything with mix-wise. Really like the warm synths in this track which were well ahead of the times when it was originally released.
